Operation Skinny Me-Week 1

In addition to posting my weight, I will also be posting my daily caloric intake.  I'm using My Fitness Pal to keep track of my calories.  If you want to count calories, I highly recommend this site.  It has virtually any food you would eat, even homemade recipes and tons of exercises.  I THINK you can even create a recipe and it will tell you how many calories are in a serving.  It also has an app for Apple and Android.  If you join, add me as a friend and we can encourage each other! 

I also purchased this heart rate monitor.  Using the average beats per minute (bpm), you can use this formula to calculate how many calories you have burned.  I don't wear the monitor all day, but I do when I work out or go to the zoo with the girls.  It's really helped me and I really like it so far.  Here are my results of my first week.
